It is a classic Poe "guilt" story that has a walled up wife (cask of Amontillado) a murder discovered (tell tale heart) and an animal tormentor (the raven) all the poe classics in one. Plus I like black cats. I also would have paid the tip for Annabelle Lee...it's my favorite only because I had to memorize and recite it in 10th grade. It's still with me today. It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea, That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of Annabel Lee; And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me. Etc etc
