It is amazing the depth that the shadows bring to the light
What within your darkness has given you the will to fight
How many tears have you cried to power your smile meek
Of all the tumultuous thoughts what honesty did you seek
When you found yourself alone with only you standing there
After your fealty has fallen and clawed your way to open air
To draw in the dawning breath of your recovery to begin anew
Do you breathe to seek for vengeance or only to know the truth
With in the truth there is healing and hope not often sought
But within the demise of others your soul is sure to rot

Is there anything more sincere than finding comfort within your own being? After every battle that was viewed as a loss and every loss that was viewed as a battle; to be able to be at peace with just one's own company . . . relishing the fortitude and the longevity of your spirit - there is no greater peace. It was not about rising above anything other than that which truly oppressed you: your own perspectives. Healing the hurt is often a battle that is never fought because to choose to relive the pain seems nonsensical, but to understand the part we've played in the stagnation of our growth becomes the pathway to a better life and a better future. Learn to live a life you love!
The search for self travels through the lives of many but only truly contains one soul. At a point you can be grounded, comforted in your awareness of who you are can you then become the more over stagnant resonance of companionship. You have to trust the heartbreak and the lessons it brings. You must trust the solitude and the silence it rings. You must trust the journey, disrobing the ego to honesty. You must learn to trust the self where intuition is the only company. The search for self IS the search for love. . .

If only the darkness knew the light from which it runs
If only the light knew that in darkness is from which it comes
If only the contrast of opposition was to create yearning
If only then think of all that we could be learning
What if what is different was meant to enhance you
What if what is different was to help discover truth
What if we put aside the judgement and considered the alternative
Maybe just maybe we could find a better way to live . . . .

When you gave me back my heart I could have died. I entrusted it to you . . .
Thank you for the memories:
I will forever have a beautiful place to visit within my mind.
A place where love, joy, and tranquility I can always find.
Thank you for the conversations:
You've given me thoughts to ponder with the passing days.
Planting seeds to strengthen my foundation in so many ways.
Thank you for the laughter:
To learn the language of your joy as it thundered out so easily.
There are no amount of words that can say what that means to me.
Thank you for the intimacy:
Two souls entwined blurring the edges of any physical existence.
Not spoken of or known even in the infinite pages of written fiction.
Thank you for the love . . .
the love . . . you knew my heart was not safe for your coming journey.
You'd hurt your heart and chose to part; it's why it was returned to me.

To love - oh to love . . .
Dreams weaved in waking hours at the caress of impassioned lovers.
Words tethered in heartbeat measures without a word spoken to each other.
Embellished destinies sewn in heart seems at a gaze in darkness' cover
Worlds unfurled time un-hurtled - stopped by the way he love's her
A touch, a kiss, her heart's amiss intuit that there can be no other
A loving gaze as the Lovers pray that their love can be recovered
The time apart becomes a part of the story written within flesh's cover
With the day anew the dew fresh strewn gives hope to be discovered

Mirror oh deceptive mirror: what is it that you know?
Recreating aspects of my body only just for show.
You smile only when I smile and frown as if a mimic.
Yet the novelty of all you are is merely just a gimmick.
What truths is it that you hold for me to understand?
Saying nothing of my destiny or all that I have planned.
If I dream do you dream or feel what my heart feels?
Do you know the love I hold and whether time is real?
Though I reflect in introspect and reflect an image too;
You know little of the life I live and hardly any truth.
So pardon me if I don't concede to your silent whims.
You view the world backwards with an outlook that is grim.

Be the change you want to see
Be your truth and honor thee
Sit with your shadows - never flee
Stop the untruths and live humbly
We demonize the world with our ego
Personalizing pain we won't let go
We pick and choose the things we know
React from perspectives societally shown
Removing the human out of humanity
Seeking validity versus truth is insanity
Lacking accountability is coddling the enemy
If you want to heal you must own your frailty

Hey hey everyone! Going outside of my comfort zone here and throwing myself at your mercy: I'm collaborating with a local artist/painter to bring a gallery styled modeling shoot to fruition. It's a fairly large undertaking but holds some promise for some good content. That being said if you feel inclined to contribute to the project via the tips option it would be greatly appreciated. I will be doing give aways based on amounts but don't feel pressured to go above and beyond your own comfort zone.
$40 gets 3 digital prints
$80 gets 6 digital prints
$160 gets a calendar (digitally signed)
$200 gets a canvas painting from the artist
$500 gets an invite to the shoot, canvas painting and a signed calendar.
$750 gets an exclusive chance to model with me where you will receive 5 8x10 prints, an invitation to the gallery themed shoot, a canvas painting from the artist, and a signed calendar.
Please take note the artist still needs time to create the content for the gallery styled shoot and a venue needs secured. The venue will be secured once all the artwork has been created.
There are only 2 spots available for the invites at the $500 mark and only 1 spot available at the $750 mark.
If you decide to tip to promote the upcoming project please note that with tip.

I'm tired from living not tired of living
Just playing the cards that I have been given
I'm living life to the fullest - it takes dedication
Wherein the purpose becomes the mind's medication
My dreams starts as a thought and to thought return
Every goal and accomplishment has been very well earned
The work, rest, and the play all go hand in hand
And at the end of the day I know where I stand
It's not an end goal that I seek but more of a right now
While everyone's struggling for something so far out
Live each day every day don't let one slip past
Oft living for the future means your lots already been cast

Know the self . . . darkness is not inherently evil. In a universe of God only darkness existed. Love was within darkness and it thrived. Light was created for creation and within it hate has thrived. To know the self and quell the impulses of the ego it is to the darkness we must return. Home to face our unresolved preceptive fallacies - the tethers that bind us to the psychologically deceptive mindsets that beget the weakness of ill gotten ways. Love thrives in darkness as we are freed from that which we see and intuitively succumb to what we know. Love is universal and for all. It is the lack of love and the judgement of it's oppression that has created the cycle of inequities and injustices. When you cast a stone, whether first or last, you've created ripples that seek limitlessness.

The way the water touches me: soothes my soul divine
Tantalizing all my senses - an adventure in my mind
It sets the primal energy surging through my spine
Erasing any inclinations . . . of the passing of the time
There's a freedom within my being set upon in nature
The moments though are fleeting are very much my saviour
Calling fourth the primal and intimate wild behaviour
It's that freeing feral fierceness that I will always savor
Photographer: P. Burns
There is a freedom in being me for there was no Me before me
No Me to tell me how to be, tell me what to say, or what to see
So I played with the fires being mesmerized by the flames
I danced in the storms calling the thunder and drinking the rain
I've explored the cities, the forests, the heart, mind, and the self . . .
I've been learning to live free - unencumbered as nobody else

To separate fantasy from reality is a fallacy
Scheming is dreaming a plan of actuality
The nine to five makes the dime a totality
There is more in store believe in the galaxy
Follow the heart in part if not whole
You'll discover a world the world does not know
Love is within not of the skin as above so below
Take the time to quiet the mind and discover the soul

Divinity
The closest we will ever be to divinity is true self awareness. It is not living a life of reactions to events and stimulus per se but a series of honed cognitive choices of what is right, what is humble, what is pure, what is growth, what is unfiltered undiluted truth of the greater good; to preserve the true integrity of the moral being.
It is a journey of raw transparency where your soul & your actions are what it is that you see - that you gauge and yours alone. Being divine or 'godly' is power over the self. It is not reaction but action every time you are challenged. If you default to human responses you will never understand the divine.

That which holds the most value will never be able to be purchased
Love and life without happiness could be deemed worthless
It is in the well being of your soul that becomes the best investment
Financial success at very best is bitter sweet if held with resentment
Have you been told you matter to only be left shattered by abandonment
At what point on earth did you disprove your worth to the heaven sent
Did you take stock in you or did you let abuse become your defining factor
Abuse neglect the lack in respect is where complacency is your detractor
Did you define your soul divine and defend the life that was gifted you
At the end of the day the fault is laid in the absence of your truth
Photographer S. Cottrill
"...humbled" mumbled the country girl submersed in the city life
To live to learn your wage you earn by the experience of strife
What greater gift coming through the amiss knowing now the new
Yet return to root though educations not moot for growth becomes truth
All are equal not good nor evil separates us from one another
Kneel with your brethren, sisters, and children there is no "other"
Heal your hearts mend the mars-ugliness is the lovelessness we play to
We are one in the same all broken all lame; humble the devisive nature
Photographer J. Brooks
To love oh how to love . . . that closeness. Closeness is intimacy; intimate knowledge, intimate awareness - unfettered transparency.
When you find yourself loving another do you consider what is it you offer this "love" in your life? Do you know yourself well enough to comfortably open up the darkest parts of you to them and know that not only you but that They are safe? Pondering this: do you truly love them? Can you be open? honest? transparent? close? . . . unfettered? The time you have given to know another and to attempt to understand them is moot if you truly do not know and understand the self.

leather & lace
leather and lace - oh just a taste
yet so much more than a pretty face
lace and leather - oh the storms I've weathered
wild hearts can not love tethered
I'm roses and rain - I'm triumphs and pain
winged feathers or falling - running or crawling
I'm never defeated only moments: depleted
wistful winds or shining sun - never a prize to be won
I sing my own song and dance my own drum
I work, run, and play all the day long
so should I choose to share my bed with you
we'll adventure together and you get my heart too

Super excited to be doing my first group shoot event this weekend! 3 DAYS plus I'll be in an absolutely amazing BnB. Oh yeah baby!!!! LOVE it!!!

When you lay yourself bare are you willing to take an honest look at what you see? Or is it for the accolades and validations given externally? Do you look at your flaws and drink them in acceptance? Or are you the first to cast the gavel falling short of all repentance? Do you handle yourself with love believing that you're capable of change? Or do you gangly hang despondent seeing only shame?
Do you know that you are worthy and all judgements are projections? . . . mean spirited hateful words are merely internal reflections? For one to take the time to belittle the human spirit; are ones who've turned from love only cause they fear it. Whether towards the self or someone else let go the indoctrination. Allow yourself to be without the calloused condemnation. When children speak with innocence and ignorance of the world: with loving care you guide them to dreams yet to be unfurled. We all remain as children as we continue to grow in time, because mentally and emotionally we choose to leave our growth behind. We are truncated by a narrative of pity and remorse - never understanding only we are responsible for recourse. Be weary of your filters - given to blind yourself to the world you live in. Most would say it's fate, it's to late not knowing where to begin. The soul pleads for you to believe in you, believe in dreams - things are rarely ever as they seem.

Always soul searching, goal: unearthing the raw and primal self
Introspection is my life's detection; shan't sit upon no shelf
I can't be saved by a knighted brave it's devoir to save myself
Attended or alone I'm my love's true home - wisdom becomes wealth

To Live or Not to Live
An accolade? Sure, of that there is no doubts
But it's not for fame or likes - not for the clout
You stand in the mirror and question what's displayed
Not just the visual but the unseen 'neath the overlay
You learn you grow you stumble and fall
Society pleads for you to stay behind your wall
But you've felt the sun and danced in the rain
You choose not to oppress but to heal the pain
Knowing all to well that pain has become a part of you
Though so is love and laughter - so what is your truth
For me the pain is where my scars are born
The emotions that fought and became battle worn
Society is riddled with misguided souls
Doesn't mean that I must be till I've aged to old
For old is not a number but a mind(set)
When we stop growing, unwavering and stringent
Set in the ways we've become conditioned to be
Not a choice but a default of the pieces of thee
When was it you gave up the rights to your life
It's not about conquering but overcoming the strife
Letting go the anchors that will keep you harbored
Sail the unknown to where you need not the armor
Live! Love! Free yourself from your embrittled cries
With a set mind a friend is not the passing of time
It's ok to be scared until you've found your way
But a life in port will ever fall short your best of days

At 46 years old I became a published model. I model for me - for the introspection. To see myself captured in ways I could not see or accept. Modeling became a conduit of self reflection that has helped me to find parts of me that I never knew and to heal parts of me - some I never knew to be broken. I am a model whether there is someone taking my picture or not. I am a film maker, an actress, and a mother. I'm have no intention of stopping there. I dream out loud and brave the unknown. The only thing I am searching for is me. #chaseyoursmile
alluring . . .

heart pouring . . .
out unto the world.
Who is this girl?
she is love . . .
she is light . . .

'Love': her soul's silhouette
(Patton Pics w/ David Patton)
Rainy days or sleepy sun rays - dreams pave the way
They are the inspiration the mental motivation to face the day
The gumption and go get'em to carpe diem - manifest
Life is to short so let dreams scream-exhort to live your best
Your life your choice your happiness your voice are you hearing you
Societal symbiotic silence, mentally emotionally quieted . . .
or to thine own self be true?
(*another concept I hope to shoot one day)
