The only other noteworthy thing that happened was during our last use of the sauna. The same guy who massaged my feet was there and this time I let him massage my back. So what do I think of the place? It's pretty cool and if I find myself in London in the right mood, I will visit it again. I'm also curious to see it during later hours as we left around 8 pm. I can see how the guys who follow you into the sauna and other facilities can be exhausting to people who are not used to that kind of attention. I'd definitely would have felt better with a swimsuit but then I probably wouldn't get naked at all, so being unprepared worked out for the guys who got to see me naked 😄

So recently I found myself in London and the weather that day was pretty typical London grey. Me and my hubby have considered visiting a nude spa in London for a little while but have heard mixed reviews about the place. So as the weather wasn't great and the sound of a nice warm sauna was very appealing, we spontaneously decided to go there.

I was not prepared for it, no swimsuit with me, and no idea what to expect. We arrived at the spa, asked the staff how it works, and were told that the bar serves water, tea, coffee, and juice but no booze. However, we could bring our own. As there was a shop almost next door, we went to get a few drinks. I felt very nervous, so really could do with a drink.

Ok, shopping done, got went back to the spa. Paid our entry fee and got shown where the lockers were. Unlike at swinger clubs, the lockers here were divided into male and female, at clubs it's usually male and the other ones are female + couples. We had to drop off our drinks at the bar and they would be poured in plastic cups as and when required. So got my first drink poured immediately 😄 I needed something to loosen me up a bit.

We were there quite early so I didn't expect it to be busy but I felt somewhat disappointed to see a lot of swimsuits and everyone covered by towels. I had no swimsuit and I was completely naked under my towel. At first, we just walked through to see the facilities, they had a couple of saunas, a couple of steam rooms, 3 hot tubs, a pool, an outdoor area for smokes and whoever just wants to chill outside, and a lot of private rooms for those who want to have some private fun.

Facilities were not posh but they were not run down either. They were well-maintained, and clean, and did not have any funky smells. Sure, there were some spots in a few corners that may have had some black mold or water damage, but with the humidity that they had there, it's very understandable, even my gym which is quite expensive has those problems in the wet areas.

After we checked it all out, our first stop was one of the saunas. There was one guy when we went in the sauna but as soon as we went in there, like another 3 joined in there. Only one didn't wear a tower and one actually had swim shorts on. What was interesting was that one of the guys who joined in there shortly after we went in, left only after a couple of minutes. I suppose seeing that I was not getting naked was enough for him and he didn't want to be in the sauna. That repeated a few times over our stay, we would go to an area, followed by somebody who would leave it shortly after.

I'd say the spa had a ratio of roughly 6 men to 1 woman, so not a great balance, and without sounding arrogant, I knew that most eyes were on me at the time. I was one of the youngest at the time of our arrival. I did finish my 1st drink in the sauna and I have not had a drink in a sauna for years, I forgot how quickly it kicks in when you drink in the heat 😄 It made me feel good and loosen up very quickly. We had some small talk in the sauna with some regulars and first-timers. After 20 minutes or so, it was time to cool off for a bit. Grabbed my 2nd drink and hung out in the lounge area.

So it seemed like we were in for just a chill afternoon with some nice spa facilities. There was a lot of male attention but it wasn't overly pushy, but I don't know how bad it would be if I went alone. I think it could be a little exhausting. After we cooled off a bit, we again went to the sauna. This time as soon as we entered a guy asked my hubby if he could give me a foot massage. Hubby replied "Don't ask me, ask her" and I said, "Sure, why not".

He had his own massage oil with him and he did a really good job giving me a good foot massage. We also had some small talk with the room. Still, considering it's a nude spa, I didn't see many naked people. The odd man who didn't wear a towel, but it would be maybe 1 in 15 people.
