This holiday season, try not to think about what to avoid. Let's look at building healthy habits like positive reinforcement training... instead of putting the attention on the behavior that you want to limit, focus on a replacement behavior that fulfills the need. So, if you want to avoid sweets this season, make an effort to check out the crafting sections of the Christmas market and invest your time and money there instead. If you have a full heart and limited time, you can still grab a sweet treat on the way out, but moderation might be easier to attain.

My favorite way to keep Waffles excited about our life together is with spontaneous adventures 🥰 She loves going into the city and surrounding islands, and it gives us an opportunity to practice impulse control in a new environment and behaviors that we don't use as much at home, like the one you see here, "under"😍🐕
